Progression:

We have also developed a new set of offerings for young people to pursue their love for nature beyond their childhood.

We offer ITC Certifications to candidates to become Forest School Leaders starting at Level 1 (at 14 years old) and we are an authorised centre to evaluate and certify young people through the AQA Unit Awards Scheme, to recognise what your children have learned or are working towards in these sessions or other nature-oriented activities they do.

This Youth Club is suitable and ideal for:

  • Young people looking for an introduction to horticulture, wildlife studies and other natural sciences,

  • Teenagers looking for an introduction to careers in environmental conservation and environmentally sustainable practices,  - Youths interested in an introduction to become Forest School Leader, looking forward to achieve a Level 1 certification (at 14 years old), Level 2 (16 years old) and Level 3 (19 yo).

  • Families looking into obtaining AQA Units Awards certifications for skills their children have already gained -or working towards- during their participation in Forest School and other outdoor activities.

  • Young people inclined or interested in manual skills such as arts and crafts and similar trades using sustainable/natural materials and tools,

  • Young people looking to develop their leadership and interpersonal skills.

  • Or simply for those who enjoy the outdoors and like to share time with like-minded peers.

The Activities:

Activities during the sessions are part of the developing and maintaining the new Nature Vibezzz Hub (Outdoor Educational Community space) and include the following categories:

  • Gardening: planting and maintaining a fully organic green space.

  • Forest School: building self-esteem, confidence and improving behaviour and communication skills through self-initiated, participant-led tasks and projects.

  • Bushcraft: learn survival skills, using hand tools, natural materials and ancient techniques, including woodwork.

  • Environmental Education: learning about the natural environment and to intervene responsibly in local green spaces and beyond.

  • Environmental awareness: learning sustainable practices and skills whilst relating to wider environmental challenges.

  • Youth Leadership: develop skills to take initiatives, role modelling, effective communication and caring for others and the environment.
